Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media Manager at Chronicles Advisory in Lagos, with flexibility for remote work. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing social media marketing strategies, optimizing social media presence, creating engaging content, and overseeing communication efforts.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a creative and numerate social media manager, ideally early in their career, who is passionate about law, SMEs, social media and internet culture. Candidates who have recently completed or are currently serving with NYSC are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate does not need to have extensive professional experience in social media, but having demonstrated the ability to grow a social media page or blog to a reasonable audience would be an advantage.
In this role, you will:
1. Manage Social Media Strategy and Publishing: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads.
2. Lead Social Media Operations: Oversee day-to-day social media activities, including content creation and campaign management.
3. Enhance Brand Engagement: Increase interaction and engagement with our social media audience.
4. Report on Performance: Provide detailed reports on social media performance and metrics to the leadership team.
Responsibilities
– Content Creation: Plan and manage content for various social media platforms.
– Editorial Content: Develop creative, on-brand content that fosters a diverse and inclusive community.
– Content Calendar: Create and maintain a dynamic content calendar.
– Campaign Management: Launch and manage social media campaigns.
– Social Media Assets: Oversee the creation of social media assets, including videos and graphics.
– Goal Setting: Set and track measurable goals.
STRATEGY & ANALYTICS:
– Data-Driven Strategies: Use analytics to evaluate performance and refine strategies.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– While not a compulsory requirement, being a qualified lawyer, preferably early in the legal profession, is an advantage. Recent graduates and NYSC members are welcome.
– Strong knowledge and interest in social media and popular culture.
– Proficiency with social media publishing, analytics, and listening tools.
– Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and work collaboratively within a team.
– Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut).
– Strong multitasking, writing, verbal, and communication skills.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this role is N200,000 – N300,000, based on experience.
