2baba arrested in the UK has become the hottest topic online as Nigerians react to a viral clip showing the music icon in handcuffs after an alleged altercation with his wife, Natasha.

Months ago, reports surfaced that the singer had been involved in a dispute with his then-pregnant wife, but he dismissed the story and claimed he missed an event due to a medical emergency. He thanked organisers and fans and promised to make it up to them.

However, the circulating videos tell a different story. In one clip, 2baba is seen being led into a police vehicle by UK officers. Another shows Natasha stepping out of a bus, reminding the singer that she was carrying his child. The footage has stirred mixed reactions, with many online users mocking him for declaring Natasha his “peace of mind” when tension with Annie was at its peak.

Comments rolled in:

Lady Claire wrote, “Legend Annie has been managing for how many years? E reach Nee turn, she arrest am.”

Deojie_hair wrote, “His peace. Na their type of peace be that.”

Ochasbeautyhouse added, “Na him peace.”

Others chimed in:
“Peace of mind wan wound Annie.”
“Na now you go know why the owner of the man no fight you.”
“Benin women no dey tolerate nonsense.”
“2baba is the problem.”
“She’s his peace of mind now.”

The drama follows 2baba’s earlier confession on Nedu’s podcast that men aren’t built to be with one woman. After backlash, he later apologised in a video, saying he had messed up and expressing remorse to Natasha, his fans, and his children. Media personality Do2dtun voiced concern, saying 2baba seemed vulnerable, while comedian Ayo Makun noted how society pushes men to suffer in silence.

Cynthia Morgan urged Natasha to pray for him, saying a man like 2face can’t be forced into monogamy overnight. Daddy Freeze, on his part, said the singer was “depreciating,” comparing him to a luxury car turning into something far less.

Yet Natasha continues to stand firmly by him. Following the birth of their first child last month, she posted a video calling him “the finest dad alive.” A day earlier, she shared a loved-up photo, promising to love him forever and committing their marriage into God’s hands.

The couple had their traditional wedding on July 25th, 2025, a quiet ceremony attended by close family members. On his 50th birthday in September, Natasha described 2baba as the love of her life, saying her joy was complete with him. She has consistently celebrated him, praising his looks, his music, and his impact on her life.

The Edo lawmaker, who is also Igbinedion’s granddaughter, often posts videos of herself singing his songs, proudly calling herself his biggest fan. She once vowed to sustain his musical legacy, insisting she would do everything possible to keep his light shining, just as he has supported her career.

When 2baba picked up fresh recognition on Billboard, she celebrated him again, calling him a living legend and another win for Nigeria.
