Job Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Quality Assurance Tester, located in Lagos with flexibility for some remote work. The Software Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for ensuring that software products meet the standards of both the company and the client, conducting tests, identifying bugs and technical issues, and working closely with developers to ensure that the software product is functionally efficient. The individual will need to employ the best testing techniques through manual tests and automated tests to ensure the software runs smoothly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing
- Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Postman
- Ability to write test cases, design test plans, execute test plans, and track the defects
- Awareness of software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps and the software development life-cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to properly document software issues and bugs that have been identified to better communicate with software developers and management
