Sokoto: Senator Tambuwal appoints 64 constituency aides

Senator Aminu Tambuwal, the immediate former governor of Sokoto State, has approved the appointment of 64 aides throughout the local governments in his constituency.

Tambuwal—the chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development—announced this in a press release on Monday by Muhammad Bello, his media aide.

“This initiative is part of the Senator’s efforts to empower his constituents and drive his development agenda,” Bello said.

Some of his previous commissioners and special advisers from his time as the state governor make up the newly designated aides.

Among those selected as aides are Aminu Bodinga, Special Adviser on Constituency Affairs and Stakeholders Engagement, Alhaji Ahmed Maradu, Special Adviser on Constituency Political Affairs, Bala Yabo, Special Adviser on Constituency Welfare and Bello Tureta, Special Adviser on Constituency Traditional and Religious Affairs, Nasiru Tambuwal, Special Adviser on Constituency Projects, Youth and Student Affairs, Bashir Lambara, Special Adviser on Special Duties, Lauwali Fakku, Special Adviser on Community Orientation and Enlightenment and Abdullahi Dange, Special Adviser on Constituency Security Matters, Lauwali Ubandoma , Surajo Isah, Ibrahim Ubale, Haliru Kilgori, Abubakar Rafi, Abubakar Salihu, Ummaru Bodinga.

The appointments also comprise seven Special Assistants for each of the Sokoto South Senatorial District’s seven Local Governments.

Tambuwal, Kebbe, Shagari, Yabo, Bodinga, Dange-Shuni, and Tureta are the respective local governments.

The senator thanked the appointments and asked them to perform admirably in their roles.
