Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and reality star Sophia Momodu marked this year’s Mother’s Day in grand style, celebrating the special bond she shares with her daughter, Imade Adeleke.
Taking to Instagram, Sophia shared gorgeous photos of herself and Imade twinning in matching green dresses. Captioning the post, she wrote:
“Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.”

Last week, Sophia shared a valuable lesson she teaches her daughter—if you can’t change something about a person in 2 minutes, don’t talk about it. Earlier this month, she shut down a Snapchat user who criticized Imade’s lack of smiles, asserting that her daughter is confident and secure.Also, last year, Sophia shaded Davido while reflecting on their Disneyland trip, claiming she fulfilled a promise that was “intentionally broken” to her daughter.
Sophia and Davido remain locked in a bitter custody battle over Imade. In June 2023, Davido filed a lawsuit seeking joint custody, alleging Sophia was denying him access and extorting him—claims she denied. She later opposed his request, citing the tragic loss of his son as proof he is unfit to raise their daughter alone.
