Sophia Momodu has thrown shade at Davido while responding to a fan who pointed out that their daughter, Imade, bears a striking resemblance to the singer.
On Snapchat, a fan mentioned the resemblance between Imade and her father, writing, “Looks like Davido.” Sophia, however, blurred out the singer’s name and replied with a curt, “K.”
The move didn’t sit well with another fan who criticized Sophia for being “childish,” arguing that she could have completely hidden the name or avoided posting the message altogether.
But she actually looks like her father. This is so immature of you. If you really wanted to blur the name, you could have done it completely, or you couldn’t have posted it at all. I’m a big fan of you, but this doesn’t make sense,” the fan commented.
Firing back, Sophia wrote:
Yimu! Little Ms. mature. Ode ni eh. Your sense of humor is clearly under that closure on your forehead. If you like to be a big AC, if you send me this message again, I’ll block your papa.”
This comes weeks after Sophia Momodu and Davido reunited for the first time in two years to celebrate their daughter’s 10th birthday. The music star attended the party with family and friends, and in one video, Sophia and Davido were seen posing together with Imade and her birthday cake.
Last year, the pair were locked in a heated custody battle. Davido filed for joint custody of Imade, accusing Sophia of denying him access and extorting money. Sophia, in her defense, claimed the singer was unfit for solo custody, citing the tragic death of his son and other reasons.
