Fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu, mother of Imade Adeleke, the first daughter of Nigerian music star Davido, recently shared her excitement about her daughter’s future appreciation of her stylish persona.
The niece of media mogul Dele Momodu turned heads with stunning photos in a pink dress, accompanied by a bold caption about motherhood and self-expression.
Taking to Instagram, Sophia expressed her anticipation for when her daughter will fully grasp her chic personality.
“Can’t wait till my daughter is old enough to clock that her mom is a baddie,” she wrote, alongside dazzling images of herself in a gorgeous pink dress.

Sophia Momodu has been vocal about standing firm for her daughter. Late last year, she shaded Davido, implying he broke a promise to take their daughter to Disneyland—a trip Sophia fulfilled herself. Her remark highlighted her commitment to ensuring no one disappoints Imade.
The entrepreneur is also engaged in a public custody battle with Davido. Their relationship deteriorated after the singer went public with his now-wife, Chioma, in 2022.
In June, Davido sought joint custody of Imade, accusing Sophia of denying him access and extorting money—allegations she denied. Sophia opposed his request, citing concerns for their daughter’s safety.
Sophia also addressed claims made by Isreal DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, who insinuated that her vacations with Imade were financed by Davido. She firmly denied receiving financial support from the singer and revealed that Isreal later privately apologized for his comments.
