Nollywood actress Sotayo Gaga has welcomed the month of October with gratitude and a heartfelt reflection on her journey into motherhood.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a touching video of herself with her daughter, noting that while she had been a mother figure to many, she officially became a mum to a special soul last year.
I’ve been a MOTHER to lots, but officially became a MUM to a special soul this month last year. Alhamdulilahi. October, November, December. May this new month bring forth unexpected blessings, peace, and good health for everyone with a good heart & pure spirit. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance,” she wrote.
Sotayo welcomed her first child in November last year, announcing the news with a video of her baby bump. Soon after, photos of her with her newborn circulated online, drawing love and congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.
In December, she shared a sweet video of herself holding her baby as she embraced motherhood fully. Nollywood stars including Aisha Lawal, Joke Jigan, Toyin Adewale, and Sola Olaibi celebrated her with affectionate comments.
Sotayo Gaga has kept her family life mostly private. She secretly tied the knot in March 2021, with speculations linking her husband to Nassarawa state where she later received several chieftaincy titles.
Over the years, the actress has remained in the spotlight not only for her career but also for how she gracefully handles rumours about her private life. Now, as she reflects on her daughter’s first year, Sotayo says she is grateful for the blessing of motherhood and prays for peace, health, and joy in the months ahead.
