The Children’s Art Gallery (TCAG) is a social enterprise based in Lagos, Nigeria. Our mission is to improve children’s education, healthcare, and creative development through the exhibition and sale of their artwork. We are the first organization of its kind in the world to solely represent artists under 18. Through our platform, we provide a unique opportunity for children to showcase their work, while empowering them with skills that enable them to navigate the world of art. The gallery has a robust schedule of events, programs, and projects for children and adults alike.
Role Description
The Special Projects Lead will be responsible for fundraising, development of the Gallery’s Outreach Program, and Development of Special Projects. This is a full-time hybrid role at TCAGallery. The role is based in Lagos but some remote work is acceptable. The Special Projects Lead will be responsible for supporting various initiatives, including the submission of grant applications for the Gallery’s social impact initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in capturing impact through storytelling and branding
- Demonstrates ability to work independently, self-initiates to-do lists, and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and take direction from the Director
- Experience in non-profit or social enterprise sectors is desirable
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills in managing various projects
