Nollywood power couple Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi have melted hearts online as they released adorable photos of their son, Jayden, in celebration of his first birthday on August 18th, 2024.
The couple took to their social media pages to share touching messages and photos of the little boy, who has become the apple of their eye.
In a joint post featuring their son, the proud parents initially shared photos of the birthday boy without a caption. However, Jayden himself, through a message penned on his behalf, expressed gratitude to God and his parents for their care and love.
Yayyyyy. I am One today! Thank you, Jesus, my Lord and personal saviour, for keeping me, and thank you to my Mummy and Daddy for taking good care of me. I love you.”
Many Nollywood celebrities and fans flooded Jayden’s Instagram page with birthday wishes. Actress Ini Dima Okojie commented on how charming Jayden looked, while Stella Damasus expressed her joy for the young prince who has brought happiness to the world. Others, like Chinenye Ennebe, Adinma Somadina, and Ken Erics, also extended their heartfelt wishes to the little one.
Later in the day, both Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi took to their respective Instagram pages to share more heartfelt messages for their son. Stan Nze, clearly overwhelmed with love, described Jayden as the bringer of love and peace to their family, expressing his gratitude for the gift of their son. He also prayed for the wisdom to raise Jayden in the right way.
Blessing Obasi, on her part, penned a touching letter to Jayden, calling him “the crown of her youth” and “her heartbeat in person.” She recounted the emotional journey of discovering her pregnancy and the joy Jayden has brought into their lives. Her message was filled with love and prayers for her little warrior, wishing him a life full of laughter, purpose, and divine protection.
In October of the previous year, Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi welcomed their first child, a baby boy, after a memorable pregnancy journey. The couple shared the news of their son’s arrival with great joy, recalling the surprise of discovering they were expecting a boy. Stan admitted that they had initially expected to have two girls, but God had other plans.
In December, they revealed Jayden’s face to the public for the first time, with Stan proudly noting how much the boy resembled him. The couple later dedicated Jayden to God in a church service attended by several Nollywood stars, including Kate Henshaw, Funny Bone, and Walter Anga, who all joined in the celebration.
