Stella Maris Okafor, wife of the late veteran actor John Okafor, fondly known as Mr Ibu, has shared an emotional tribute in honour of his posthumous birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Stella Maris posted photos of herself, her late husband, and their children as she reminisced about the special moments they spent together during his lifetime. She expressed how much Mr Ibu loved celebrating his birthdays and shared how deeply she and their family miss him.
This marks the first birthday without the legendary actor, who passed away in March 2024 after battling health complications that led to the amputation of his legs. The beloved actor, known for bringing joy to many through his humor, died of cardiac arrest, leaving the entertainment industry and his fans in deep mourning.
In her heartfelt message, Stella Maris prayed for her late husband’s soul to continue resting in peace, while fans and colleagues, including actress Eve Esin, took to her timeline to offer their condolences and support.
