Job Description

Our client is a group of companies and a key leader in the Financial Services industry in Nigeria, and they act as Financial Advisors, Stockbrokers, Wealth Managers, and Trustees, and we are currently recruiting to fill vacant positions- Stockbrokers at their office in Lagos.

Responsibilities

•  Generate income and meet income targets within the stock market in line with the set target determined at the beginning of an appraisal period.
• Providing accurate investment advice to clients within the stock market.
• Aggressive marketing of the company’s products and services. Effectively profile prospects/clients,
• Analyze their financial risk appetite, needs, and goals for investing and guide them as regards their investments.
• Follow up on clients’ mandates to ensure they are promptly executed and error-free
• Providing regular updates to clients regarding the status of their investment portfolios and making changes in investment strategies based on market conditions
• Maintain a cordial business relationship with all clients whilst ensuring regular communication with assigned clients.
• Effectively work with members of the team in handling all relationship management issues, such that all clients have access to more than one account officer at any given time.
• Prepare and deliver presentations/seminars to clients and prospects for business development purposes.

Qualifications

•  A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable Higher Institution.
• Professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers will be an added advantage
• A prior working experience in the investment and wealth management industry is required.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent prospecting and marketing skills.
• Good knowledge of the Capital market and its operations.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
