Sunmbo Adeoye, the mother of two of legendary singer 2face Idibia’s children, has expressed immense pride in her first child, Nino Idibia, for his outstanding achievements.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sunmbo shared her joy after receiving a call from Loughborough University, where Nino is enrolled, praising her for raising such a remarkable young man.
Sunmbo shared screenshots of several awards Nino has won within his first year at university, highlighting his outstanding accomplishments and unwavering commitment to succeed despite being away from home for the first time. She expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of his foundation year and lauded his resilience and dedication.
Sunmbo wrote,
I’m incredibly thankful for the successful completion of Nino’s foundation year. It indeed took GOD’s POWER and a village literally to step by faith on this journey. I couldn’t be prouder of your outstanding accomplishments and your unwavering commitment to succeed despite being away from home for the very first time.”
She continued,
When I received an email from Ms. Mogridge, expressing her gratitude to me for raising such a remarkable young man, it was clear how much they value having you at Loughborough. In her words, ‘I have no doubt that Nino Idibia will succeed and reach great heights as he progresses onto his second year and beyond.’ Thank you @ninoidibia for setting a great example for your siblings. Here’s to more outstanding achievements as you continue your journey at Loughborough University. Congratulations, my love. I am so proud of you.”
Last year, Nino had graduated from secondary school, celebrated with a graduation party attended by his father’s brother, Charles, and his paternal grandmother. Following his secondary education, Nino headed to the US for university, accompanied by his mother and stepfather, David Adeoye. In February, David Adeoye won the hearts of many with his love for 2face’s two sons, with Sunmbo sharing heartwarming photos of their visit to Nino at his university.
