Sunmbo Adeoye, the mother of two of legendary singer 2face’s kids and wife of Pastor David Adeoye, has offered a heartfelt prayer for single parents on her Instagram page.
Addressing the unique challenges faced by single parents, Sunmbo urged them not to worry about finding a parent, friend, and mentor for their children. She emphasized that God, who sees the end from the beginning, has a divine plan and will send the right person at the right time.
Using herself as an example, she shared how God provided her boys with the perfect mentor and assured single mothers that their prayers for their children would be answered.
Trust GOD absolutely, and let Him be in charge of your marital destiny,” she wrote, reminding parents to rely on faith rather than their own understanding.
Sunmbo recounted the biblical story of Jochebed, Moses’ mother, to illustrate God’s provision and timing. Just as God arranged for Moses to be mentored by a princess, she believes that God knows the specific needs of every child and will supply what is necessary for their future.
