Former Big Brother Naija star Tacha Akide has clapped back at critics who questioned her dramatic weight loss and new slender appearance.
Recently, Tacha made waves on social media after debuting a slimmer, toned physique. The reality TV star, who has relocated overseas, shared a video showcasing her transformation. While some fans praised her for looking “banging,” others speculated that her weight loss was due to medications like Ozempic.
In a video posted on her social media, Tacha did not hold back as she addressed her detractors. She questioned why it seemed so difficult for her critics to give her credit for her achievements and transformations, stating that they often linked her success to external factors.
Tacha dismissed claims that her appearance was tied to cosmetic enhancements or medications, sarcastically challenging her critics:
“Is it my fault you’ve decided to live a mediocre life? Is it my fault that you’re not rich or have no self-discipline? I have a big ass, it’s BBL. I have a flat tummy, it’s BBL. Now I’m slender, and it’s Ozempic. Let God keep confusing my haters!”
She added that her critics were just bitter about her youthful looks, taking a jab by saying,
“I’m looking good as hell, and it’s not my fault that your 27-year-old girlfriend is looking 37.”
Tacha’s physical transformation is just one of the many changes the reality star has embraced. Last December, she kept her promise of removing the tattoo of music star Davido’s face from her chest. Once an ardent fan of the singer, Tacha had the tattoo removed after a fallout in 2023.
Tacha remains unapologetic about her lifestyle choices and is determined to silence her critics.
