The number of people killed by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey’s SouthEast has reached 48,000. Over 115,000 people have been injured, according to Turkish President, Recep Erdogan, on Sunday.
A 5.6-magnitude earthquake has hit eastern Turkey, killing at least one person, injuring dozens and causing some damaged buildings to collapse.
Twelve days after the quake hit, more than 45,000 people have been killed in the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria. Around 264,000 apartments in Turkey destroyed and many still missing in the country’s worst modern disaster.
