Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Tailor in Lagos at FifthEleven Couture. The Tailor will be responsible for creating, adjusting, and repairing garments to customer specifications. Daily tasks may include joining different outfits, especially corsets. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of traditional and formal fabrics and have a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tailor.
• Expertise in sewing and tailoring techniques, such as pattern drafting, fabric cutting, and garment assembly.
• Ability to interpret and follow design and technical specifications.
• Experience working with a variety of fabrics, including delicate material (beaded, embellished, stoned, and woven).
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with designers and clients.
• Proximity to Abule Egba and it’s environs is a plus.
