Nigerian singer Tekno Miles has refuted reports claiming that his colleague Kizz Daniel paid him close to N1 billion for a feature on the song “Buga.”
A publication had circulated an alleged excerpt from an interview where Tekno discussed his relationship with Kizz Daniel, claiming that the latter generously shared revenue from their collaboration. According to the purported interview, Kizz Daniel sent Tekno 50% of the revenue generated from the song “Buga,” along with a substantial sum after his tour, totaling close to a billion Naira. Additionally, Tekno allegedly receives monthly earnings from the song’s streaming platforms.
However, Tekno took to social media to dismiss these claims, stating that he never received such a large sum from Kizz Daniel. He questioned the authenticity of the reports, emphasizing that Kizz Daniel’s financial capacity did not align with the rumored amount.
Him money no reach. Anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama,” Tekno declared.
The singer’s response debunked the rumors, putting an end to the speculation surrounding his collaboration with Kizz Daniel.
This isn’t the first time Tekno has made headlines for his comments. Previously, he indirectly addressed his colleague Dammy Krane’s public dispute with Davido, suggesting that only those facing financial difficulties resort to airing grievances online.
