The cause of Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel’s beef with talent manager Ubi Franklin has finally been revealed. Recently, it was reported that Kizz Daniel had blocked Ubi on Instagram, sparking surprise and speculation among fans. Ubi further fueled the rumors by questioning if he should speak out in a blog’s comment section.
Instagram blogger Cute Juls has now unveiled the reason behind their fallout. Allegedly, Ubi had secured a ₦150 million gig for Kizz Daniel and requested a 10% royalty, which Kizz agreed to. Ubi deducted his ₦15 million share and sent the rest to Kizz.
However, Kizz Daniel then asked Ubi to send the entire amount so he could account properly. Initially, Ubi refused but later complied after Kizz threatened not to perform at the show. To Ubi’s surprise, Kizz only sent back ₦7.5 million. When Ubi demanded the remaining balance, Kizz claimed the 10% agreement was between Ubi and his brother, leading to a heated argument and exchange of insults. Ubi even considered legal action. Eventually, both blocked each other’s phone numbers and Instagram accounts.

Kizz then claimed the song rescued Tekno’s career.
