It’s a tale that resonates well with me, and for this reason, it’s dear to my heart!” Makinde wrote, reflecting his deep connection to the film.
This achievement follows closely on the heels of another recognition for Makinde. Recently, he was highlighted among the rising Nollywood stars to watch in 2024 by Top Charts Africa. The platform described Makinde, also known by his screen names Shinene and Tinini, as one of the most refined, talented, and hardworking actors in the industry.
In response to this recognition, Makinde expressed his gratitude towards Funke Akindele, his mentor, and the writer who acknowledged his talent. He credited Akindele for providing him with the platform that propelled him to recognition and success.
