UK-based author and content creator Toni Tone has humorously shared an incident where a UK hotel mistakenly welcomed her with photos of Nigerian actress Toni Tones.
While attending the London premiere of Wicked, which stars Ariana Grande, Toni Tone noticed a mix-up when she entered her hotel room. The hotel had placed personalized photos of her, but they were of the wrong Toni—actress Toni Tones, her namesake. Despite the mix-up, Toni Tone found the gesture endearing, stating that it was the thought that mattered to her.
“I thought this was a cute touch until I realized that it wasn’t me, and they printed photos of the wrong Toni. This is a Nollywood actress called Gbemi, who goes by the name Toni Tones with an S. It’s the thought that counts, I guess,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
