Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has voiced her confidence in the pursuit of justice for the late singer Mohbad, following the arrest of his former record label boss, Naira Marley. In a tweet on Tuesday night, Naira Marley announced his return to Lagos to aid in the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death, drawing attention from the Lagos State Police Command.
Expressing her views, Tonto Dikeh highlighted Naira Marley’s seemingly high confidence, hinting at influential political backing. In a bold message to these underdogs, she called for either dropping Naira Marley or risk having their names exposed to the public.
Naira Marley’s confidence looks to me like he has some top political underdogs by his side. Now one of 2 things, you all better drop him and let us have the justice we deserve or we will start fishing your names out. Right now we don’t care about y’all, we want justice,” she stated.
Tonto Dikeh’s faith in the justice system remained strong, despite her concerns about the unfolding situation. She criticized the arrest of Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry, questioning the credibility of the police’s actions. Tonto emphasized the need for justice for Mohbad and called out former presidential media aide, Reno Omokri, over his interview with Naira Marley, raising 10 questions and alleging a pre-planned agenda between the two.
As the investigation unfolds, Tonto Dikeh remains a vocal advocate for justice, demanding transparency and accountability in the pursuit of truth surrounding Mohbad’s unfortunate demise.
