Spain international Ansu Fati has said he has no intention of leaving the club this summer despite speculations that manager Xavi Hernandes does not want him at Camp Nou next season.
The 20-year-old is reportedly interested in leaving Camp Nou this summer, according to many transfer rumors.
Over the previous four seasons, the teenage forward has made a name for himself as one of La Liga’s top young players, helping the Catalans win three trophies, including a La Liga title and a Copa del Rey crown.
However, the Spain international fell down the pecking order during the previous season. Starting just 14 of his 51 games for Barcelona. According to Goal, the winger’s predicament at his club has attracted interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea for months.
Speaking to Teledeporte, the forward said,
“I have a contract with Barça and my intention is to continue improving and growing there in the future.
“That is my intention. I have a long contract there and I’m quite happy right now… both in my club and in the national team.”
