The social media personality shared details of his supposed health struggles, including difficulties in urination, seeking sympathy and financial support from the public.
However, members of the LGBT community and a doctor named Loveth have accused Jay Boogie of exaggerating his surgical problems to gain public sympathy and financial assistance. A GoFundMe page was reportedly created for Jay Boogie, but concerns were raised when he declined to provide the original test results from the hospital to substantiate his claims of kidney failure.
The doctor who initiated the fundraising effort, in collaboration with Tosin, has brought the matter to the attention of the LGBT community after reporting the account. The community is now seeking transparency and authenticity regarding Jay Boogie’s health situation.
