Trent Alexander-Arnold Ruled Out of Wolverhampton Clash

Liverpool’s vice-captain, Trent Alexander-Arnold, will be sidelined for their upcoming match against Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday due to injury.

The setback stems from a hamstring issue he picked up during the latter stages of Liverpool’s triumphant 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in their previous outing.

Manager Jürgen Klopp addressed the situation during his pre-match press conference, stating, “[There is] no cause for concern. He was already unavailable, which we knew in advance.

“He hasn’t had a single training session with the team since the injury, and his recovery is progressing steadily. While it’s not the most severe hamstring injury, these types of injuries typically take more than two weeks to fully heal, and this case is no exception.

“With Alexander-Arnold already back to running, we’re optimistic that he can begin ball work early next week. From there, we’ll closely monitor his progress and make decisions accordingly.”
