Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken a stand against veteran actor Pete Edochie’s recent mentions of Nollywood actresses and their failed marriages. In a viral interview with Chude Jideonwo, Pete expressed disappointment at his junior colleagues’ marital issues, including Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Ireti Doyle, and Tonto Dikeh.
However, Uche Maduagwu slammed Pete for his hypocrisy, pointing out that the veteran overlooked his own son Yul Edochie’s alleged disgraceful actions in his marriage while berating other actresses. Uche emphasized that marriage is meant to be enjoyed and not endured, and he found Pete’s comments insensitive, leading him to shed tears.
Uche Maduagwu also reminded Pete of the ongoing family drama involving Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy, who have been allegedly taunting May Edochie while she is still mourning her son. He urged Pete to focus on addressing issues within his own family before criticizing others.
The controversial actor emphasized that instead of targeting fulfilled and spiritually prosperous actresses like Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Ireti, and Chioma, Pete should confront the challenges in his son’s marriage and reflect on the true essence of a happy and fulfilling marital relationship.
