  • Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify that policy applications comply with underwriting guidelines and regulations.
  • Utilize statistical models and data analysis to assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in underwriting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare reports on underwriting activities and present findings to management.
  • Monitor policy renewals and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in underwriting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
