Vanessa Okoye, daughter of music executive Paulo Okoye, has openly addressed the ongoing attacks on her family, particularly targeting her stepsister, Priscilla Ojo. The vibrant and outspoken Vanessa made it clear that any attack on her family would not go unanswered.
“There’s a special grace that follows Priscilla,” Vanessa stated firmly, adding that people who fail to understand this grace end up speaking thoughtlessly. She advised critics to focus on building meaningful relationships in their own lives rather than casting aspersions.
Vanessa questioned why Priscilla’s recent wedding was a source of contention, advising critics to channel their energies into their own endeavors.
If her wedding disturbs you, perhaps it’s time you have yours too,” she said.
In defense of her sister, Vanessa also took to Priscilla’s Instagram comments after Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi criticized Priscilla’s posts with her husband, Juma Jux. Mange had urged the couple to stop posting loved-up content as their country approaches its elections.
Vanessa’s response was clear and unwavering, as she supported Priscilla with the comment, “Forever is the deal.” Meanwhile, Priscilla continued to share joyful moments from her wedding, captioning one post, “Thank God, say God no be man.”
Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, also joined the fray, defending her daughter’s choices. The Nollywood actress expressed her disapproval of the audacious comments and reiterated that she had raised her daughter to be bold and authentic. Iyabo warned critics to stay out of her family’s affairs, asserting that Priscilla had every right to post her moments of joy.
