Very Dark Man Vows Not to Apologize to Obi Cubana

Social media activist, Very Dark Man, has vowed never to apologize to businessman Obi Cubana.

The controversy erupted after VDM criticized celebrities who attended Davido’s wedding, claiming some snuck into the party uninvited. Celebrities like Iyabo Ojo and influencer Ashmusy were allegedly only invited to the after-party, while Nkechi Blessing almost got bounced at the venue.

Paulo Okoye defended his girlfriend Iyabo, expressing pity for VDM, which escalated into a heated exchange between them. Obi Cubana intervened, urging blogs to stop promoting disrespectful youth. VDM responded fiercely, refusing to apologize and insisting he deserves an apology instead.

Taking to Instagram, VDM shared a screenshot of his chats with blogger Tunde Ednut, who suggested he apologize to Obi Cubana. VDM refused, stating he would rather die than apologize. He emphasized that he worships only God and his ancestors, not money or man.

With all due respect @mazitundeednut, I know I’m not supposed to post this, but at this point, this is a warning that anybody who calls me in respect of anyone will have their chats posted. It’s crazy how the world didn’t drag Tunde Ednut when their billionaire threw his shot, but when I responded, you all started dragging the innocent man. Anyways, if anybody needs an apology, they should apologize to me first. I don’t worship money, I don’t worship man, I worship my ancestors and God… peace out ALUTA CONTINUA.”

Reactions online varied, with some criticizing VDM’s stance and others supporting his defiance. Sabinus weighed in, reminding people to respect their elders, while TV presenter Beecee Ugboh criticized VDM for diverting attention from Davido’s wedding with his trolling.

Beecee questioned the importance placed on wedding invitations, arguing that attending doesn’t make anyone more important. Other commentators echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the need for mutual respect and the dangers of seeking clout at the expense of others.
