The podcast quickly gained attention, prompting Boniface to respond by revealing a surprising detail: the same woman had previously reached out to him in admiration, even requesting a jersey.
Screenshots of their private chats, shared by @Thetifefab on social media, went viral. The revelation painted a contradictory picture of the critic, sparking online backlash against her.
Despite the criticism, @getacupoftea remained defiant. She doubled down on her Instagram story, continuing to accuse Boniface of lacking talent and humor.
A tweet from user @Deyvxxd further intensified the backlash. It showed a leaked conversation where the critic allegedly begged Boniface for financial assistance using a mobile payment app, OPay.
The revelation drew widespread reactions online, with many supporting Boniface and questioning the critic’s credibility.

A separate drama unfolded between viral fish pie seller Alax Elvasam and self-proclaimed financial expert GehGeh. Alax accused GehGeh of living a fake lifestyle, particularly after claims of owning a G-Wagon were debunked online.
