Popular video jockey and rumoured partner to actress Bimbo Ademoye, VJ Adams, recently shared his candid thoughts on social media about people setting standards for themselves that they can’t afford.
Adams stressed that while high standards are commendable, they should be realistically attainable based on one’s own means.
He illustrated his point with an example:
If, as a girl, you own a Range Rover or a Benz, then it’s normal for you to want to be with people who also have luxurious cars. However, if you cannot afford certain luxuries yourself, it’s unrealistic and wrong to demand them from others.”
This is not the first time VJ Adams has voiced his opinions on social expectations. In March 2024, he addressed women who believe that God is keeping them for the right person. Adams suggested that the delay in finding ‘Mr. Right’ might be due to personal character flaws that need addressing. He advised single women to work on their character and mindset to attract the right people.
In 2023, Bimbo Ademoye indirectly hinted at their relationship status. Celebrating Adams’ birthday on Instagram, she described him as selfless, a breath of fresh air, and one of the sweetest humans. When a fan inquired about Adams’ relationship status, Bimbo’s protective and strong response hinted at their close relationship, fueling further speculation.
