Woli Arole Warns Christians About the Worship of Money in Churches

In a powerful Instagram post, Woli Arole expressed his concern over how conversations around money and its glorification have started to dominate church spaces. The preacher passionately reminded his followers that Christ’s mission was not to make people rich but to grant them eternal life.

I say this as God’s prophet,” Arole wrote. “Mammon is already creaking into the church—the talk of money, the worship of money. Christ did not die so we could become rich; he died so we could have eternal life. Wake up, oh saints. Share this message!!”

This isn’t the first time Arole has challenged societal and religious norms. He previously called out Christians who criticize the reality show Big Brother Naija, advising them to channel their energy into creating Christian alternatives instead of being judgmental.

Woli Arole has never shied away from addressing societal issues. At the start of the year, he warned that it would be a difficult time for those engaging in sugar daddy relationships and for men neglecting their wives in favor of younger women. He urged repentance and emphasized the importance of living a righteous life.

Last year, he also cautioned young ladies about the rise in ritual killings, reminding them that their destinies are worth more than fleeting pleasures like sex and money.
