It’s double celebration for Nollywood star Wumi Toriola, who has taken to Instagram to celebrate her son’s preschool graduation. The actress shared adorable photos of the little one, expressing pride in his latest milestone while reflecting on the beauty of motherhood.

Year one in a bit. Congratulations, my sunshine. Nothing long like pre-school,” she wrote. “How I manage to blend being an amazing mother and holding onto a career that is really demanding is the Grace of God and you.”
Toriola also gave a heartfelt shout-out to his teachers and fellow parents, praying for continued strength and provision. She then added a playful reminder that her son said Konge 2, her latest film project, would drop at 2pm on her YouTube channel—turning the graduation day into a celebration of both family and career wins.
The Yoruba movie star’s celebration comes on the heels of many celebrity kids marking major school milestones. Just last week, Annie Idibia celebrated her daughter Olivia’s graduation from junior school with three awards, while Ifeoma Okoye, wife of Jude Okoye, got emotional at her son’s nursery school graduation.
Actor Adekola Tijani beamed with pride as his daughter completed Grade Six, and Big Brother Naija stars Bambam and Teddy A’s daughter graduated with top honours as Overall Best Graduating Student. Similarly, Bisola Aiyeola’s daughter, Leyla, graduated secondary school with the Best in ICT award.
On her own end, Wumi Toriola also marked her birthday, sharing new portraits and reflecting on a year full of emotional and creative investment. She revealed that she released Konge 2, a special project close to her heart, in celebration of her new age.
Today is my birthday and I am feeling incredibly grateful,” she wrote. “To mark this special day, I dropped a project close to my heart—KONGE 2—on my YouTube channel.”
The actress, known for her resilience and talent, declared this new phase one of “new beginnings, bigger energy, and an even bigger year ahead.”
