Nigerian music sensation Yemi Alade has publicly called out Cool FM and Clout Africa for allegedly removing her songs from their platforms.

In a series of passionate tweets, the Grammy-nominated artist expressed frustration over what she termed “petty behavior” stemming from her absence at a December 2023 event hosted by the media station.

According to Yemi Alade, she had apologized for her inability to attend the event and even reached out to the media station’s leadership to reconcile, but her efforts were reportedly ignored.

“My God is bigger than your station,” Alade wrote, criticizing Cool FM for what she perceives as an unwarranted grudge. She labeled their actions as “fake” and accused them of unprofessionalism.

Despite the challenges, Yemi Alade remains optimistic, stating that her faith and resilience will sustain her career. She emphasized that her artistry and global reach cannot be stifled by local disputes.

The singer further reminded the media stations that she and her team have met with presidents and other dignitaries worldwide, resolving conflicts without resorting to prolonged grudges.

The artist’s revelations have sparked conversations on social media about the dynamics between artists and media platforms in Nigeria. Fans have rallied behind her, praising her for her transparency and resilience.
