Nollywood actor Yemi My Lover has shared insights into his relationship with gospel singer Tope Alabi during an interview on Biola Bayo’s Talk Show, “Talk To B.”
He reminisced about the early days when Tope Alabi sought him out, emphasizing that they had a good relationship during that time. Yemi My Lover highlighted Tope Alabi’s dedication to her craft and the trust her mother placed in him when she was in his care.
Speaking about their current status, Yemi My Lover mentioned that they are on good terms with each other. He recalled the time Tope Alabi was his apprentice in the ’90s, and he acknowledged her musical talent while mentioning that she was not as skilled in acting at the time. The actor also expressed appreciation for Tope Alabi’s hard work and dedication to her art.
This revelation comes after Yemi My Lover previously called out Tope Alabi for neglecting him after achieving stardom. However, he later retracted his statements, attributing them to love and expressing satisfaction with his current state.
