The drama continues to unfold in the ongoing saga between Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his estranged wife, May Edochie, as the former is accused of engaging in constant competition with her on social media.
Just a day ago, May Edochie sparked a frenzy on the internet when she shared a captivating video of her flight to Dubai. The video documented her arrival in the city and showcased the delightful moments of her travel experience. May, accompanied by her business associates, revealed she was in Dubai for a business trip, adding another chapter to her entrepreneurial endeavors.
However, the spotlight swiftly shifted back to Yul Edochie as he took to his Instagram page, in a joint post with his wife, Judy Austin, to share a video of their own airport experience. The couple, captured at the Asaba airport, was seen boarding a local flight bound for Abuja.
Asaba was good to us. We’re off. Back to base. Touchdown Abuja. ‘Odogwu awaa. Akpolum Ijelem waa,'” Yul captioned the post.
While Yul’s post aimed to capture a moment of his own journey, it ignited a wave of criticism from social media users who perceived it as a direct response to May’s recent travel escapade. Many took to his comment section to express their opinions, accusing the actor of engaging in a futile competition with his estranged wife.
This isn’t the first time Yul Edochie has faced such accusations. Last year, he was similarly criticized when he and his wife, Judy Austin, unveiled their business venture shortly after May launched her own business following their split.
The ongoing feud between Yul and May dates back to their divorce proceedings, initiated by May following Yul’s remarriage to his colleague, Judy Austin. The contentious divorce battle has been fraught with legal disputes and public confrontations, shedding light on the complexities of their relationship.
Despite the controversies, Yul has been vocal in addressing the allegations against him, often resorting to social media to air his grievances and counter May’s claims. Earlier this year, he publicly accused May of undergoing cosmetic procedures without his consent, further fueling the animosity between them.
