Nollywood actor and former presidential candidate Yul Edochie has given fans a glimpse into a pivotal moment in his family’s journey, sharing a video of himself and his wife, Judy Austin, in the labor room as they prepare to welcome their third child.
The touching clip captured Judy, heavily pregnant, arriving at the hospital and being wheeled into the labor room. Yul, by her side and wearing a nose mask, shared his excitement:
“The D-Day is here. The baby is coming.”
This update comes shortly after Yul shared a maternity shoot with Judy, in which he dressed in traditional attire at her request. He affectionately referred to himself as a “deity,” reflecting the pride and joy surrounding this pregnancy.
Just weeks ago, Yul had publicly crowned Judy as the “most beautiful heavily pregnant woman in Africa.” He also hinted at his desire to expand their family further, jokingly comparing himself to football star Cristiano Ronaldo for his “skills” in fatherhood.
In February, the couple had announced their third pregnancy with excitement, even revealing the names they had chosen for their unborn child.
Judy Austin has not been shy about expressing her gratitude for Yul’s unwavering support. In a heartfelt note to their unborn baby, she praised Yul for being her rock and ensuring the family’s needs are met. She described him as a devoted husband and father who has stood by her through every emotional moment and craving.
Judy also used the occasion to extend prayers to women trying to conceive (TTC). She encouraged them to remain hopeful and trust in God’s timing, stating that motherhood is a divine blessing.
