Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his wife, actress Judy Austin, have joyfully introduced their newborn daughter to the world.
Yul announced the birth of their third child, a baby girl named Universe Ifeyinwa Storm Yul Edochie, urging fans and well-wishers to celebrate with them. Sharing a heartfelt video of their daughter in her hospital crib, the actor proudly declared:
“I present to the world our daughter, Universe Ifeyinwa Storm Yul Edochie.”
While the announcement drew widespread attention, it also prompted notable reactions from the entertainment community. Actress Chika Lann gifted the newborn a generous sum of ₦1 million. A grateful Judy shared a screenshot of the transaction and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for Chika’s kindness.
On the other hand, actress Sarah Martins took a more critical stance, mocking the couple over their choice of name for their daughter. She sarcastically questioned:
“Why name your daughter Universe? Where will the rest of the world stay?”
Yul Edochie’s joy at having another daughter is evident, as he had previously expressed a desire for a baby girl. In earlier posts, he openly pleaded with Judy Austin to give him a daughter, promising to fulfill her every wish in return.
“Give me a girl, and I’ll leave you to rest for some time.”
True to his wishes, the couple now celebrates the arrival of baby Universe, marking another milestone in their family journey.
Despite mixed reactions to the name and fanfare surrounding their announcement, Yul and Judy seem overjoyed as they embrace this new chapter in their lives.
