Veteran Nollywood actor Yul Edochie recently stirred conversations online after addressing the attitudes of beggars on social media. This comes shortly after he expressed his desire to have a daughter with his second wife, Judy Austin.
Taking to Instagram, the father of five called out those who insult others for not meeting their financial expectations. Yul highlighted the irony of beggars getting upset with benefactors instead of questioning their own circumstances.
“Humans are really funny,” he remarked.
You don’t have money, you beg someone for money, the person says he doesn’t have, you get angry with the person and start keeping malice. Why are you not angry with yourself for not having?”
Yul’s comments, however, didn’t sit well with some netizens. Many used the opportunity to critique his personal life, particularly his relationship with Judy Austin.
One user, @little_fashionistastore, wrote:
It’s the same you are doing. You begged May to forgive you and remain married to you. She no gree. You started abusing her and keeping malice. Why are you not angry with yourself?”Another, @lifeisyoursforeve, commented:
Your life is the usual gossip. You made your own family a laughing stock because you want validation from strangers.”
This online drama follows Yul’s recent public plea to Judy Austin for a daughter. The actor shared his wish on Facebook, stating that while he deeply appreciates the two sons Judy has given him, he dreams of having a baby girl.
I’ll leave you to rest for some time after that,” Yul humorously assured Judy. He vowed to meet any of her demands if she granted his wish for a daughter, whom he hopes will be as adorable as their youngest son.
Yul Edochie continues to remain a polarizing figure on social media. While some fans support his bold opinions and openness about his personal life, others criticize him for his choices and the controversies surrounding his relationships.
