Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has once again boldly asserted his position as the best actor in Nigeria and Africa. The controversial star took to Instagram to proclaim his dominance in the acting industry, citing the unmatched intensity he brings to filmmaking.
In his post, the father of five challenged anyone who doubted his abilities:
“Listen,
I am the best actor in Nigeria.
I say it again: Yul Edochie is the best actor in Africa.
End of story.
The intensity that I bring to filmmaking, no other actor in Nigeria can match it.
Are you still doubting it?

This isn’t the first time Yul Edochie has crowned himself as Africa’s finest. Last year, the actor declared the same, stating that many fans and industry insiders agreed with his claim.
Yul’s wife, Judy Austin, has also supported his claims, praising his acting and directing skills. She described him as incomparable, dubbing him the best director in Nollywood and a truly extraordinary talent.
Even Nollywood veteran Kanayo O. Kanayo has acknowledged Yul’s talent. Sharing a clip from the set of one of Yul’s movies, Kanayo hailed his acting prowess, emphasizing his ability to use his voice and body to deliver exceptional performances.
