Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie, who recently relocated to Abuja following his separation from his first wife, shared a heartwarming experience from a church visit in Asokoro, Abuja.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Yul was surrounded by a devoted crowd of fans and admirers at a Catholic church, all eager to take photographs with the beloved movie star.
Recounting the experience, Yul expressed his amazement, stating, “I went to church in Asokoro, Abuja, and I nearly didn’t make it back home.”
However, some individuals in the comments section chose to make unwarranted remarks about his worth since his marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin. Despite the outpouring of love from his fans, Yul found himself the subject of criticism.
Despite the negativity, Yul Edochie has been embracing his newfound popularity in Abuja. He previously shared a video where fans hailed him in a bank, and he proudly acknowledged the affection he has received since moving to the city.
Furthermore, Yul Edochie recently received an award and a title from the Muslim community, Arewa Youths, for his outstanding contributions to nation-building, youth empowerment, and socioeconomic and political development. He expressed gratitude for the honor and recognition from the Northern Youths Consultative Forum in Abuja, where he received the title of Garkuwan Martasan Arewa.
