Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared relationship advice with young men, encouraging them to approach women with confidence rather than waiting until they have money. In a recent Instagram post, Yul, who claims to be a seasoned veteran in the game, offered tips on how to successfully woo a lady.
According to Yul, men should not let financial status hold them back when expressing their feelings. He stressed that confidence is the key, stating that “money is not everything,” and that ladies are more drawn to men who exude confidence and have the guts to approach them, regardless of their social class.
He went on to share a straightforward message for men:
Young men, let me give you some tips as an OG in the game.
If you like a lady, no matter her status, walk up to her and tell her you like her.
Don’t wait till you have money before you can talk.
Money is not everything.
Confidence is number 1.
Ladies love men who have guts and confidence no matter their class.
Never let your confidence level drop for any reason.
She will not kill you.
She’ll either say yes or no.
But most likely, she’ll say yes in the end because, as I told you before, ladies love strong men.”
Yul’s words are not his first in the realm of relationship advice. Earlier this year, he reacted to a viral video showing a woman who had been severely burned by her husband. Yul condemned the act, reminding his followers that even if one catches a partner cheating, it is never a justification for violence.
In another post during the Christmas season, Yul cautioned women against spending excessively on expensive wigs, advising them to embrace their natural beauty and prioritize substance over appearance. He emphasized that a woman’s worth is not determined by the hair on her head but by her intellect.
Yul Edochie has been consistent in his unconventional views, even advising women who are waiting for their partner to propose to take matters into their own hands. He encouraged women to buy a ring and propose themselves, stating there’s no harm in being proactive.
