The Independent National Electoral Commission and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission are among other panel members discussing corruption in the 2023 Nigerian elections.

The panel is brought together by Conversation Africa, which for the past two years has hosted science policy dialogues that bring together scientists and policymakers to discuss issues.

Other panellists included the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, Hamzat Lawal of Code4Africa, Dr Damilola Agbalajobi, and Prof Emmanuel Aiyede, according to a statement made available to journalists.

The panel members are expected to address issues relating to the role of corruption in the just concluded general elections. They are expected to also note the achievements and challenges recorded.
