Bayern Munich will reportedly “try everything” to sell Sadio Mane in the summer transfer window following his bust-up with Leroy Sane.
The Senegal international forward moved to the Allianz Arena from Liverpool in 2022 and has been in Germany for barely a season.
Sadio Mane was suspended after striking team-mate Leroy Sane in the face. The incident occurred following the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League. The former Liverpool man was made to pay the biggest fine any Bayern player has ever received. He has also been dropped from Bayern’s squad.
Reports claim that Thomas Tuchel has no plans with Mane as he doesn’t fit his system. Bayern will however try everything to offload Sadio Mane in the summer.
BILD report that a move back to Liverpool was “not an option” for Mane. Especially with Jurgen Klopp building a new-look attack in his absence.
Bayern is due to face City in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday. Mane was usually one of the first names on the team list. However, there is doubt if he will have any part in attempting to overturn a 3-0 deficit at the Allianz Arena.
