Jonathan Majors is currently facing allegations of assault from his ex-girlfriend. However, he and his attorney, Priya Chaudhry, have filed court documents claiming that the driver who was with them the night of the alleged assault will testify that Majors did not strike her.
According to the court documents, the driver witnessed the altercation between Majors and his ex-girlfriend. Furthermore, he claims he saw her assault Majors while attempting to steal his phone. The driver will reportedly testify that Majors never struck her in any way. Furthermore, he had even asked the driver to stop the car so he could escape her attack.
Chaudhry also claims to have video proof that the woman was not injured after the alleged altercation. She states that the woman went clubbing and got drunk after Jonathan left her in the car. She had further texted accusations of infidelity and suicide threats to him. However, she showed no visible signs of injury.
The woman reported to the police that she suffered a broken finger and a laceration behind her ear during the altercation. Chaudhry however states that this is a complete lie. Chaudhry also claims that body cam footage shows police coaching the woman to say that Jonathan grabbed her by the throat.
Jonathan and his attorney are urging the District Attorney to swiftly review their evidence and dismiss the false charges against him.
