Actor, TV host, and musician Nick Cannon has made a lighthearted comment about his fertility. He jokingly stated that birth control doesn’t seem to work against his “super sperm.” Cannon, who has fathered 12 children, forgot to name his daughter Onyx during a recent interview when asked to list all of his children.
The “Wild ‘N Out” host became a father for the first time in 2011. His ex-wife, Mariah Carey, gave birth to twins, Moroccan and Monroe, who are now 11 years old. He has since welcomed more children. They include sons, Golden and Rise, and daughters – Powerful, Beautiful, Onyx, and Halo. However, they are all with different ex-partners.
During an interview on Howie Mandel’s “Does Stuff” podcast, Cannon joked about his fertility. He has “super sperm” because birth control has not prevented some of his partners from getting pregnant. When asked if he was finished having children, Cannon hesitated to answer definitively, acknowledging that reproduction is unpredictable, but noted that he is trying to be responsible.
Despite the humorous tone of his comments, Cannon’s large family has raised concerns about his ability to support all of his children and their mothers. Nevertheless, he appears to be taking his role as a father seriously and is committed to being responsible.
