Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has expressed concern over veteran actor Pete Edochie’s silence regarding the marital crisis of his son, Yul Edochie. Maduagwu commented after Yul posted a video on his Facebook page featuring his second wife, Judy, thanking God for the safe delivery of their child. However, some internet users criticized the video.
Uche took to his Instagram page to express his disappointment, stating that it is unheard of in Igbo tradition for a first wife to be mourning the loss of a child while the second wife is celebrating the safe delivery of her child. He called on Pete Edochie to speak to his son about the situation, saying that his silence was worrisome.
The actor also shared a video where he reiterated his call to Pete Edochie to speak up. The situation has initiated an online debate, with some individuals supporting Maduagwu’s remarks. In contrast, Some argue that discussing it publicly is inappropriate since it is a private family matter.
