Nigerians had to wait a long time before Tinubu’s ministerial list was revealed to the Senate on Thursday by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
At exactly 1:19 p.m., Gbajabiamila, the recently-retired Speaker of the House of Representatives, handed the list to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
The list, according to Akpabio, was dated July 27, 2023, and its heading was “Request For Confirmation Of Ministerial-Nominees.”
Akpabio stated that the Senate will get more nominees soon. The ministerial list, which included 28 candidates, was then read.
