In a significant development related to the untimely passing of the artist Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, an auxiliary nurse who treated him before his death has been arrested. This revelation comes following a meeting between actress Iyabo Ojo and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to discuss the ongoing police investigation into Mohbad’s demise.
Iyabo Ojo shared this update on her Instagram, stating that the police have made arrests in connection with the case, with the nurse being among those detained. She also mentioned that authorities are summoning individuals for questioning, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who have faced allegations of assaulting Mohbad.
The artist’s father, James Aloba, had previously expressed concerns about the qualifications of the auxiliary nurse who administered treatment to Mohbad before his unfortunate passing.
Additionally, Iyabo Ojo revealed that the police have taken steps to ensure the safety and protection of Mohbad’s wife and son during this challenging time.
Furthermore, during the meeting, it was agreed that, with the family’s consent, Mohbad’s remains would be exhumed for an autopsy, following which arrangements for a dignified burial can be made.
