Job Description
We are in search of two talented graphic designers. The ideal candidates will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing designs, including but not limited to marketing collateral, advertisements, social media content, website assets, and more.
- Ensure the consistency and integrity of our brand across all design materials. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine and expand brand guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute design solutions that meet project goals and objectives.
- Provide art direction and guidance to junior designers and freelancers when necessary, ensuring high-quality -deliverables.
- Create storyboards, wireframes, and mockups to convey Enhance and retouch images as needed for various projects, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Oversee the preparation of print-ready materials, ensuring they meet industry standards and are ready for production.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, design software, and tools, and implement best practices to continuously improve design processes and output.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Welcome and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Qualification
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
- A portfolio showing a comprehensive list and active links to high-quality graphics created
- Minimum of Bsc related field
- Minimum of 4 years post-university experience in branding and designs
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.
- Strong knowledge of typography, colour theory, and design principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Canva, photoshop.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
